The Kennewick American Youth Baseball League, located on seven acres in East Kennewick, is known throughout the Northwest as a top-quality league with some of the finest facilities, fields and officicals in the game today. We encourage you to enter our Conner Classic tournament and experience what our league has to offer!

Tournament information:- The Conner Classic Tournament is open to 10-, 11-, and 12-year-old players.
- All Star, Tournament, Select and League teams are eligible to participate, provided they meet the Cal Ripken age requirements.
- 2011 Cal Ripken and KAYB Tournament rules will apply.
- The tournament will be played on four fields.
- Games are scheduled to begin on Friday, July 1st. Due to the complexity of scheduling a tournament this size, we aren't able to accomodate requests for specific game times.
- ALL teams will advance to bracket play on Monday, July 4th and have a chance to play for the championship.
- First-place team trophies will be awarded and the Championship and runner-up teams will also receive individual awards for each player.
- A skills competition will be held for all players on Saturday, July 2 which will include an accuracy throw, relay race, around-the-horn throw and home run derby. Prizes will be awarded to the winners of each skill challenge. A tailgate party with live music will preceed the skills competition.
- A completed roster with player name and number and birthdate will be required prior to playing your first game.
- KAYB has a full-service concession stand on site with a breakfast, lunch and dinner menu available. Our concession stand accepts Visa and Mastercard and we have an ATM on site.
- The tournament brackets and scores are posted on our website in real time to allow friends and family back home to follow the tournament! Select games may also be webcast with live video and audio.
The entry fee for this tournament is $460. You do not need to bring baseballs. Your entry fee includes the cost of all baseballs.
Deadline to enter is Monday, June 20.
KAYB has secured great deals on room blocks at local hotels! Many are within minutes of the Kennewick American Complex and are near restaurants, shopping and entertainment. Contact our tournament committee for lodging information and be sure when you call to mention you are participating in a tournament at Kennewick American to recieve the special negotiated rate. Sorry, but Kennewick city code does not allow overnight camping in our parking lots.
