Parker is in his 10th season with the Kennewick American league. He started working with the organization in 2001 and joined the board in 2006 as a Concession Director. For the last two years, he has been Secretary of the Board, but also assists with field maintenance, the direction of KA's summer tournaments and helps maintain the KA league website and KA tournament website.

During summer tournaments, Parker's main role is maintaining the tournament website. The website is one of the most robust for a youth baseball league in the Northwest and is one of the only sites we are aware of to keep live scores and brackets throughout the day, as well as rosters, photos and even live streams of selected tournament games. Parker also creates and updates the tournament brackets and assists Tim with the pool play schedules. He and Tim partner to run the skills competitions at the tournaments, complete with music, banter and antics.

Parker has been active in the high school sports community for many years and co-maintains the Columbia Basin BIg Nine Athletic Conference website. He also assists with running the Eastern Regional basketball tournament in the Toyota Center, coordinates the annual high school Tri-City vs. Yakima All-Star basketball game, and does sound, production and scoreboard at volleyball, basketball and football games for Kennewick and Kamiakin High Schools.

He has no children, but often jokes more kids in the league "adopt" him every year. He is the Classified Advertising Sales Manager for the Tri-City Herald newspaper and Sales Manager for Wine Press Northwest magazine.
